AMAFERM®
The additive is a dried fermentation product from select strains of a non-pathogenic fungus Aspergillus oryzae, obtained by a deep culture, multi-stage fermentation method. The ferment as secreted by A. oryzae during the multistage fermentation process.
INGREDIENTS Dried Aspergillus oryzae Fermentation Product, Wheat bran.
PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT Light brown in color with loose meal consistency and no odor. The product AMAFERM® has a mean particle size of 1.5mm with 90% of the particles between 0.25mm and 2.0mm (range).
PRINCIPAL EFFECT The effect is primarily the enhanced growth and development of digestive tract microorganisms responsible for the degradation of fibrous feedstuffs.
CONDITIONS FOR USE Mix with feed so daily intake provides proper inclusion rate of AMAFERM®. May be pelleted.
STORAGE AND HANDLING AMAFERM® is packaged in the dried state in a 3-ply, multi-wall bag, with a high-density plastic film moisture barrier and considered stable. The bags are sealed utilizing the pinch-bottom seal closure feature which helps to prevent insect and vermin infestation. The product should be protected from moisture.
