Corn gluten pellets are produced by binding gluten feed residues from wheat and corn starch production with 1–3% molasses, fat, or colloidal clays, then pelletizing under high pressure. These cylindrically shaped pellets, approximately 50 mm long, vary between expeller and extraction meal types based on their origin. Their brown to beige color and 20% fines content cause them to crumble easily, making them suitable for specialized feed applications requiring consistent nutrient delivery.
