One hundred pounds of this product will deworm 7 pigs weighing 50 lb or 350 lb live weight.
After pigs have consumed the proper amount of ShowTec Starter/Grower LN/FBZ, they should be changed to an approved MoorMan’s ration. Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Swine maintained under conditions of constant worm exposure may require retreatment within 4 weeks after the first treatment due to reinfection.
CAUTION
Occasionally, swine fed lincomycin may within the first 2 days after the onset of treatment develop diarrhea and/or swelling of the anus. On rare occasions, some pigs may show reddening of the skin and irritable behavior. These conditions have been self-correcting within 5 to 8 days without discontinuing the lincomycin treatment. Do not allow rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, or ruminants access to feed containing lincomycin. Ingestion by these species may result in severe gastrointestinal effects.
